| Day 1 Leave Tokyo direction by train, arrive Hakodate from noon to evening. Enjoy the night view from Mount Hakodate, drinking local beer at the red brick brewery. |

| Day 2 Explore Bay Area, Motomachi Historical Distorict and Goryokaku Park in Hakodate. |

| Day 3 Day trip to Onuma Park, overlooking the nicest lake and beautiful mountain. |

| Day 4 Excursion to Matsumae from Hakodate, walk across the temple town. Return to Hakodate, or go to Esashi via Kikonai. |

| Day 5 Trip by morning ship from Esashi (connect local bus from Hakodate). Arrive Okushiri, explore friedly island by local bus. Sea bathing or seafood barbeque is good option. Stay at homely accommodation or seaside camping grounds. |

| 江差から午前のフェリーで日本海に浮かぶ奥尻島へ (函館から始発の路線バスに接続運航)。奥尻島に到着したら、フレンドリーな路線バスで島をめぐってみよう。浜辺での海水浴や海鮮バーベキューもおすすめだ。夜は家庭的な宿、あるいは夕日を見渡すキャンプ場に泊まる。 | |||||||||||||||
| Day 6 Boat trip to Setana from Okushiri (May to September). Between Otcober and April, return to Esashi and change the rapid bus to Yakumo. Arrive in Toyako Onsen at evening. Watch the daily fireworks festival (Late April to October) at the breezy lakeside. |

| お昼近くに出航するせたな行きのフェリー(5月〜9月の季節運航)に乗船。10月〜4月は一旦江差に戻り、八雲行きの快速バスに乗り換えよう。洞爺湖温泉は夕方着。夜はロングラン花火大会(4月末〜10月)を鑑賞したい。 | |||||||||||||||
| Day 7 Take a sightseeing boat on Lake Toya. Take train to Noboribetsu from Toya. Visit hell valley and bear farm, getting into hot water. |

| 朝一番の洞爺湖観光汽船に乗船し、さわわかな湖上の景色を楽しんだら、列車で登別へ。地獄谷やクマ牧場をめぐったら、温泉で旅の疲れを癒そう。 | |||||||||||||||
| Day 8 Arrive in Sapporo. Enjoy the excursion to Otaru. |
