| Day 1 Leave Sapporo for Otaru. Walking across the historical district and Otaru Canal. |

| Day 2 Take train or bus to Niseko. Enjoy hiking or cycling in summer, skiing or snowboarding in winter. Getting into hot water at night. |

| Day 3 Leave Niseko by morning train, change the limited express or local at Oshamanbe. Arrive in Onuma Park around noon, drinking local beer after walking. Take evening train to Hakodate, enjoy the romantic night view from Mount Hakodate. Order a night meal at Luckey Pierrot or Hasegawa Store. |

| 朝の列車でニセコを出発し、長万部で特急または普通列車に乗り換える。大沼公園を散策したら地ビールで喉を潤そう。夕方の列車で函館に向かい、美しい夜景を満喫したい。夜食はラッキーピエロかハセガワストアで。 | |||||||||||||||
| Day 4 Explore Bay Area, Motomachi Historical Distorict and Goryokaku Park in Hakodate. |

| Day 5 Take train to Toya from Hakodate, change the bus for Toyako Onsen. Get on the sightseeing ship on Lake Toya, or hike the volcanic footpath. Watch the daily fireworks festival (Late April to October) at the breezy lakeside. |

| Day 7 Learn about Ainu Culture at Shiraoi. Take train to awesome mountain resort Tomamu. If you stay in winter, enjoy winter sports and ice village. |

| 白老でポロト湖畔のアイヌ民族博物館を訪ねたあと、列車で壮大なスケールの国際的山岳リゾート「トマム」へ向かう。冬はスキーやスノーボード、アイスビレッジの散策を楽しめるところだ。 | |||||||||||||||
| Day 8 Get up early a little, overlooking the sea of clouds from Tomamu unkai terrace (spring to autumn). Take train to Obihiro, explore city central or visit Ikeda Wine Castle. Arrive in port town Kushiro, eat the fresh seafood. |

| 少し早起きしてトマム山の雲海テラスに行ってみよう(春から秋までの季節営業)。日高や十勝の山並みを背景にした雲海の景色を見られるかもしれない。朝食を終えたら列車で帯広方面へ。市内を観光したあとに名物の豚丼やカレーライスを味わったり、池田のワイン城へ行ってみるとよいだろう。この日の最終目的地、釧路では新鮮な海の幸が待っている。 | |||||||||||||||
| Day 9 Occational date: Explore Kushiro. Short trip to Kushiro Wetland by sightseeing train. You can also day trip to Nemuro or Lake Akan. |

| この日は予備日。釧路市内を散策したら、観光列車「ノロッコ号」で釧路湿原に足を延ばしてみよう。根室や阿寒湖への日帰り旅行も可能だ。 | |||||||||||||||
| Day 10 Train from Kushiro to Mashu, change the bus for Lake Mashu. Stay in Kawayu Onsen. |

| Day 11 Train to Shiretoko Shari from Kawayu Onsen, change the bus to Utoro Onsen direction. Hike around the world natural heritage "Shiretoko". Local bus runs between Utoro Onsen and Rausu from mid June to mid October. Getting into hot water at night. |

| 川湯温泉から知床斜里まで列車に乗り、ウトロ温泉方面行きのバスに乗り換えて世界自然遺産・知床周辺をハイキング。6月中旬から10月中旬までの期間は路線バスで羅臼へ足を延ばすことができる。 | |||||||||||||||
| Day 12 Leave Utoro Onsen by bus. Explore Abashiri and Around. Visit prison museum or Koshimizu Genseikaen. Abashiri drift ice cruise operating from Late Jaunary to March. Stay in Abashiri or Lake Saroma. |

| バスでウトロを発ち、網走とその周辺を観光。博物館網走監獄あるいは小清水原生花園を訪ねてみよう。冬は網走の流氷クルーズを体験してみたい。この日の夜は網走中心街や郊外の温泉地、サロマ湖畔の宿に泊まる。 | |||||||||||||||
| Day 13 Move to Sounkyo Onsen via JR Sekihoku Line or direct bus from Kitami direction. Weather permitting, try to climb Mount Kurodake. Ice festival is held in winter nights. |

| 石北本線経由、または都市間バスで層雲峡温泉へ移動。天気が良ければ黒岳登山にチャレンジしてみよう。冬の夜は温泉街の河川敷で氷瀑まつりが開催される。 | |||||||||||||||

| Day 14 Visit Asahikawa from Sounkyo. Take bus to Asahiyama Zoo. Circle sightseeing buses runnning from summer to autumn. Drinking local beer or Japanese Sake at night. |

| 層雲峡から旭川へ向かい、バスで旭山動物園へ。夏から秋にかけては観光循環バスが運行される。夜は地ビールまたは地酒で乾杯。 | |||||||||||||||
| Day 15 Take bus or train to Biei. Run through the hillside by bicycle. If you visit this region in July, go to lavender gardens around Nakafurano. Stay at unique accommodation around Furano. |

| 朝のバスまたは列車で丘のまち美瑛へ。自転車を借りてパッチワークの路を駆け抜けよう。7月の旅行であれば中富良野のラベンダー畑もあわせて訪れたいところ。夜は富良野周辺の個性的な宿に泊まりたい。 | |||||||||||||||
| Day 16 Occational date: Explore Furano and Aroud. Enjoy skiing or snowboarding in winter. |

| Day 18 Boat trip to Rebun Island. Explore flower paradise. |

| Day 20 Return to Wakkanai, or fly to Sapporo from Rishiri Airport. |
